Small Difference in MIRO-Invoice

Dear All,

 

SAP provides tolerance key BD wherein small difference can be maintained which are eventually debited/credited to GL Account maintained in OBYC key DIF. Unplanned costs can be configured so that these are debited/credited to the respective inventory account.

 

But client wants that small difference in Invoice should be debited to the respective Inventory Account automatically instead of the separate GL and without providing any value manually as unplanned cost.

 

Logic for the Business Requirement - Unplanned costs option does not have a tolerance limit, whereas for key BD limit can be maintained but amount should be posted to the inventory account and not to separate GL.

 

Can we achieve the requirement in SAP.

Variant Program - REFVAL01

Hi

 

I am able to execute a rate that I have designed permissible at Facts level

 

It has two variant Programs LUMSUM01 and REFVAL01

 

in the installation Facts I could maintain the Operand value for The operand created using Category Ref Value

 

There are two fields : ENTRY VALUE and VALUE to be Billed

 

May I know what actually these fields are meant for ?

 

are they referring to the Demand in KW to be billed

 

of Course in billing Calculation I have used KWH and TPRICE and Value is calculated

 

But I want to know exactly what these fields indicate ?

Material ledger and Depreciation Areas

Hi everyone,

 

We have a problem with getting the historical values of the materials when assigning them to an asset.

 

As the situation is a bit complex I would describe what we have so far.

 

We have three parallel currencies (business requirement):

10 - USD ,

30 Group Currency- USD,

60 Global Company Currency - AMD

We have activated the material ledger to store the historical data of materials within these three currencies (basically two currencies).

 

We have 6 depreciation areas,

01 book - USD(10) - posts to 0L (leading ledgrer),

02 book- AMD(60), type 06, no postings

32 book - USD(30), type 06, no postings

 

10 tax - AMD - posts to Z2 (the system does not allow to put currency 60)

the rest are not important.

 

We are getting the correct historical values in 02, but not in 10.

Let's say we bought a material on 01.01 and assigned it to and asset on 15.01 - thanks to the material ledger we will have the correct AMD value in 02 (the correct value is by the exchange rate on 01.01). However, we are getting the wrong one in 10th depreciation area (it will calculate the value with the exchange rate on 15.01, which is not the hysterical value).

 

What we already tried:

1. Tried to transfer the values from 02 to 10, the system says that you cannot inherit from 02 (as it itself is inheriting identically from 01).

2. Tried not to tick 02's "identical" flag, the system brings error during postings on assets, with the flag system makes 02 unavailable in AINT0004, to get the values from it (and write them in 10) with a user-exit.

3. Tried to assign 60 Global company currency to 10th depreciation area. No way - as 10 is posting to Z2, it does not have that field available (it is blank as for 01).

 

So, please, share if you have any ideas,

In ME23N user id needs to be added when i click on processing block

I got a requirement in ME23N for a PO, once i click on message after entering the PO, its navigate to Processing log, when i click on any processing block, i need to add the user id on this pop up.

Can anybody help here.

What is End Employee Assignment in C4C Org structure?

Hi All,

 

In Org units' Employee tab, there is a button with "End Employee Assignment", it states that it will end the employee assignment one day before the effective from date. 

 

I regret to say that I am unable to understand its benefit/usage in business.  Request you to explain me in details.

SAP BW 3.5 transformations migration to 7.x with routines.

Hi there,

I am trying to migrate transformations from SAP BW3.x flow to  SAP 7x flow.

I followed a document for migrating the update rules and transfer rules. There are routines involved for each field in the transformations in SAP BW3.5 flow and I am trying to migrate the code to 7x flow.

 

I am facing problems as I am unable to source the dso1 fields in end routine , when I am trying to connect transaction value field in source dso to target dso using rule groups and end routine, I am unable to represent the source dso fields in end routine.

 

can someone please guide,

Asignación de ubicaciones por documento

Buenos días, quisiera saber si hay alguna forma de asignar una ubicación para todas las lineas de un documento factura.

 

En las transferencias hay esta opción, lo cual le pone la misma ubicacion a todas las lineas de una transferencia.

Issue on Projected Income Tax (Payroll India)

Dear Experts,

 

We have an issues on Projected Income Tax.

 

As of now income tax projection actual basis but client wants to follow nominal basis, i have changed required changes but Sec 10 and pf exemption system is picking actual basis, how to resolve issue 

 

Scenario :

 

Mid month joinee Apr-15: CTC: 10000, actual earned in month of Apr 5000, now  system is projecting (5000+(10000*11)=115000/- which is correct as per client requirement, now issue sec 10 exemption part how do achieve this

HCP Fiori Launchpad Site Management tab showing blank

I want to configure my HCP Trial account for fiori launchpad. I followed the steps of getting the subscription for it and defining the property TRUST. I checked the role TENANT_ADMIN was already assigned to my user.


When I Go to Hana Cloud Portal Service , under Site Management Tab , I dont see anything but blank. I expected to see an option to Add site.

Actually I was able to see the create option with + sign 3 days back in the same place. But today when I check its blank.

ASUG BI 2015 Webcast Statistics - Storytelling

This year, while compiling the ASUG Business Intelligence 2015 webcast statistics, I started reading Storytelling with Data: A Data Visualization Guide for Business Professionals by Cole Nussbaumer Knaflic.  So I started analyzing the data by following Chapter 2 in the book.

 

First up, if you have a number to share, the author suggests simple text may be best:

Last year the ASUG BI Community held 84 webcasts, compared to 75 in 2014.  In 2016, I expect the number to be lower, as the Data Management SIG (Special Interest Group) moved to become a part of the Enterprise Information Management Community at ASUG.

In 2015 ASUG BI had 884 increase over 2014.  In 2016 this number will go down due to the loss of the Data Management SIG

In the book, the author recommends a "heat map" way of showing data over table like date.  The above shows registration by Special Interest Group.

In the book, the author says scatterplots show a relationship between two different measures.  The above is a bubble chart, showing the relationship between number of webcasts (x-axis) and number of registrants (Y-axis)

 

The Analytics SIG had 5,825 registrants and 28 webcasts.  At the low end, the overall BI community had 2 webcasts.

Line charts can be used for showing continuous data.  You can see there was a high number of registrants in the 2nd quarter, leading up to ASUG Annual Conference and SAPPHIRENOW in May.  January is typically low as ASUG had holiday blackout dates, and ASUG volunteers attend the annual volunteer meeting in January.

 

September and October are low due to two events - ASUG SAP Analytics Conference was in September and the SAP TechEd Las Vegas was in October.  We do not schedule webcasts during these event dates.  December is low as we are now in a blackout period (no webcasts) for the holidays.

 

The reference line shows 1,468 average monthly webcast registration.

Stacked graphs should be made easy to read, the author says.  I included the above to show this year we tried to add more "installation" (customer) speakers.  Our survey results from last year and this year show that ASUG members want more customer stories.

offcycle showing diffrent currency

Hi Gurus,

 

we have set up new company code and separate payroll run for the same with different currency which now in testing mode. But when I run off cycle payroll for old company code employees; I am seeing different currency(new company code currency)instead of the currency what showing in IT008.

 

Please advise where I need to check and how I can solve this issue.

'StandBy’ hours

Hi All,

 

If Drivers/Operators  are not working in a day due to vehicle breakdown or accidents, the ‘StandBy’ hours are entered by the TimeKeepers at the project Site office.

 

Only Basic pay component will be paid to the employee for that day.

 

How to do the above requirement. Please guide me

SAP GUI LOGON integrated with windows AD

Hi Guys,

 

I have my app server 2008 joined to a windows domain. I want to implement SAP to use windows AD  login domain. When the users login to their domain on their pcs they will not be entering username and password on the SAP GUI. In short I want the users to be authenticated using the active directory rather than entering username and password in the SAP GUI. Can someone guide me or refer me to a document how to implement this.

How to assign custom theme of Fiori Launchpad on EP to custom UI5 iview content ?

Hi All,

 

We created a custom theme by Theme Designer at  EP(based on SAP NetWeaver 7.5 SP1)  and assigned it to Fiori Launchpad. The result is below .

and we added some custom sapui5 iviews inside the EP . When we navigate to them , custom ui5 apps are using their own themes  as expected .

so my question is how I can assign the custom theme of Portal to Custom UI5 app ?

Customizing Decision Tree in PAL 2.4

Hi, I am currently learning Predictive Analytics for a project. I was trying out the Decision Tree in Automated mode. My explanatory variables are some companies names, such as Google, Apple, Microsoft, Cisco etc. My target variable is Gender.

 

After running the model, the software has automatically classified the company Google and Apple into one node, and all other companies (I have 16 different company names) available in my data into another node called KxOthers. I can't choose the number of branches I want and it's difficult to see each company's prediction this way. How can I make it so that I can customize the number of branches and show each individual company names? For example, I would be interested to see Google in one node, and Apple in another node itself.

I have tried the Simulation, but for some reason, only a few company names are appearing in the list instead of all 16 of them. See below: Only Apple, KxOther and Microsoft appeared in the list, the rest of the companies names are not listed.

Geo_Map Basemap URL

Hello all,

 

I want to use the standard component, not the SDK ones, but I want to change the basemap URL. I looked almost at every post on SCN regarding this object but couldn't find something that could guide me towards changing the map source.

 

In this thread Interested in Location Analytics for Design Studio? Take a look at this blog I found "as long as it respects the ESRI feature service implementation".


I googled this but couldn't find anything appropriate.


Can someone give me an example of using google maps or ios maps or another map vendor as the basemap URL?

Script Logic validation issue: No members found in dimension "TIME" for condition "CALC" = "N"

Hello,

 

we had a working script logic. It does not work anymore (probably due to BPC/NW update or dimension changes?).

 

We deleted all the code lines from the script code and I found that the problem is TMVL.

 

If we write:

 

*XDIM_MEMBERSET VERSION = BDG00
*SELECT(%TIMELIST%, "[TIMEID]", TIME, "[TIMEID] >= 2015.01.01")
*WHEN VERSION
*REC(FACTOR = 1,VERSION = BDG01, TIME = TMVL(365, %TIMELIST%))
*ENDWHEN
*COMMIT

We get this error: No members found in dimension "TIME" for condition "CALC" = "N"

 

While if we manually write TMVL(365, 2015.01.01) it works.

 

Please note:

 

- Our TIME dimension has child members and these are days (e.g. 2015.01.01)

- Version BPC: CPMBPC 801 SP 4

- Version BW: SAP BW 740 SP 4

- Note 2003100 is implemented (related to a very similar problem).

- We already tried solutions as described in: SAP BPC 10 NW - Script Logic Validation Issue

- We already tried to re-process dimensions

 

How can we fix this problem?

Erro nota 2180709 - CL_J_1B_MINIMUM_PRICE - MANUAL_TO_REASON

Pessoal boa tarde!

 

Estou tendo dificuldade em aplicar a nota 2180709.

 

Ao ativar a classe CL_J_1B_MINIMUM_PRICE, estou tomando o erro da imagem abaixo:

Alguém saberia me dizer qual nota cria o campo manual_to_reason na VBAP?

 

Já verifiquei todas as notas que aparecem como pré-requisito da 2180709, mas não encontrei nada.
