Deprecation Problem
Hi All
We have 10 asset that has booked in 2011 with deprecation key "no deprecation". For prior 4 years has not calculated deprecation for these assets. Now our client wants to change their deprecation keys to 10 years ordinary deprecation. I searched on forum and know it is possible to change deprecation key. I used that below method.
1- I changed deprecation key in AS02.
2- I run AFAR but the system gave me that "No changes made".
3- I went to AW01n and checked values there.
When I check values of asset the system is starting to calculate from 2015. For initial 4 years are not calculate deprecation. Residual total deprecation amount ( 2011 + 2012 + 2013 +2014 deprecation ) seems as net value in AW01N.
How to correct this issue? I want to change deprecation key from no deprecation to ordinary deprecation %10.
Could anyone advise me??

New compressible binary field to my table
Here is another thing.
I added a new compressible binary field to my table.
did the following
UPDATE ATT SET COMPRESS_FIELD = UNCOMPRESS_FIELD
to copy my uncompressed field data to the compressed field data.
Removed the old uncompressed field.
When I look at the file size of the ADM file, it is exactly the same even after packing!
Does this mean that the entire contents of my field were uncompressible?
What compression system does it use?
Do I have to compress the data myself first?
How is compression meant to work?
Is it a bug?
The online help doesn't mention this topic at all, just mentions the data type property.

wrong executable digital signature for add-on
Hi there, I am trying to install a new Add-on which is a simple one (HelloWorld) but I am facing the following error "wrong executable digital signature for add-on". Below are the steps that I have gone throw:
1- Use the Sample Installer solution.
2- Use the Hello World Add-on solution in the SDL samples.
3- Create the .ard file with the following parameters:
a- Add-on Executable full path (the path of the .exe in the Hello World solution).
b- Installer Exe full path (te path of the .exe file in the Installer sample).

En las transferencias hay esta opción, lo cual le pone la misma ubicacion a todas las lineas de una transferencia.

Excess Components Qnty in Goods Movements Tab in COR6N
Hi All,
Could some body please focus on my issue, I am getting excess proposed quantities for components more than the required in COR6N, BOM is correct, I doubt in master recipe and its operation quantity, I dont have clarity how components will be calculated while creating Process Order? with respect to operation quantity.

Collective order with manual good receipt
Dear all,
I have a very specific demand from my Customer, and I need your help.
My Customer is working in food industry and uses Collective Order from their production planning process.
This solutions helps them to plan and Schedule their orders, they dont need to create, and release orders one by one, etc...
BUT once the release is done, they would need to "come back" to a manual good receipt for each level of the collective order.
Do you have a solution ? The co-product declaration (531) does not respond to their need.
Considering that a standard SAP solution does not exist, which specific would you advise ?

What is table with input columns in Universe
Hi All,
I read about the "table with input columns in BO universe". I didn't get exactly what does it mean.
And one more point mentioned about this is "Tables with input columns are only supported when the Database connection is the Business Objects Data Federator server."
Can anyone elaborate about this please.

PI 7.4 AEX - Soap 2 Soap - Handle SOAP 1.2 Fault Message
Hello Experts,
I have a scenario SOAP to SOAP without any mapping.
External Partner invokes exposed webservice as SOAP Sender channel.
The message request is forwarded to a SOAP Receiver channel invoking a ASP.NET Webservice on internal Application Server.
I have problems handling the Fault message responses of the Asmx Webservice.
The ASP.net Webservice is obviously using SOAP 1.2.
Receiver channel Log shows following error: SOAP: Call failed: java.io.IOException: Unexpected element in SOAP:Fault; HTTP 500 Internal Server Error
XPI Inspector returns below result:
In the last line before error begins (starting with 'read') , the complete SOAP Fault message is displayed.
How can I handle those fault messages? The fault message just need to be forwarded as response to the invoking application of Sender Channel.

Going mobile improves customer service

A new lightweight mobile inventory application with an intuitive user interface replaced old handheld scanners and manual steps. “We are going to see tremendous benefit from our mobile inventory application. We are creating a much easier and more streamlined process for doing daily inventory management tasks, freeing up the associate's time to be on the floor serving guests,” says Randolph.
Integration between the mobile inventory app and ULTA’s other systems provides associates with real-time inventory visibility. So if a guest asks about a specific product color, the associate can instantly check if they have it somewhere in the store, or in a nearby store, or when new inventory will arrive.
Clienteling app boosts engagement and brand awareness
In addition, a new mobile Clienteling app has completely automated and enhanced the in-store beauty consultation process. Previously, associates would document the consultation, provide recommended products on a paper form, and give it to the guest. Now the consultation is done using a mobile device. The device allows associates to bring up detailed product data, how-to videos, and crowd-sourced reviews and content. It’s a very powerful tool that makes the session much more engaging and fun.
“Our new Clienteling app does a couple of things. First, it makes it easy for our associates to execute a cosmetics consultation with a guest, and second they can enroll guests in our rewards program right from the sales floor. That has really improved and simplified the overall guest experience,” says Antonopoulos.
ULTA can also take its Clienteling app on the road. The company participates in over 1,700 events a year and uses the mobile app to enroll customers in its rewards program. “That really drives brand awareness and loyalty outside of our stores,” says Antonopoulos.
Cloud solutions ensure rapid time to value

Data is loading Issue.
Hi All,
We have recently migrated our external system database from Oracle to MSSQL. data is not loading if I trigger process chain , but If I schedule manually data loading into sap BW.
I can see error in SM21 if I trigger by process chain .
If I load manually I will not get any error in SM21.
I have checked user "BWREMOTE " is not locked .

Can any one help me to get resolve the below issue please.
I am getting error " This Method should only be called once (WIS 0000). when I try to refresh web intelligence report based on BEX Query.
the report is been successfully refreshed by other 2 colleagues but i am not able to refresh this.
This report was modified by other 2 colleagues and they are able to run the report without any error. We all have same kind of access, rights etc..

Error on Profit Center - dynamic input help - wrong values in dropdown list coming up
Hi SAP Experts,
I have an issue regarding search help / dynamic input help on Profit Center (PRCTR and also PPRCTR (it's using the same logic for search help, namely PRCT)) and would really appreciate any input from your side.
When using the Standard dynamic input help for Profit Center, wrong values are coming up. As depicted below, the one with an 'a' in it gets marked as bold but normally it should only show the profit centers starting with an 'a'. Despite using the Input 'XXXX' , again the same values (all!!) are shown in the dropdown. Comparing it to e.g. Data Element KOSTL (Cost Center - Search Help: KOST) --> it is working. If inserting '1' into the Field, only entries starting with '1' are displayed, hence, when inserting 'a' no cost center is found and therefore no entry is displayed.
Has anyone of you ever faced the same issue or a similar one please? If so, please tell me how it is resolved. I do not want to wast that much time on this (cause it is not that important) but I would be delighted if you could provide some hints how this can be resolved.

Radiobuttongroup issue
Hi all,
I have a strange issue with RadiobuttonGroupByIndex component when I use "onSelect" event.
When my RadiobuttonGroupByIndex contains 3 and more radiobuttons everything is working fine.
But in case I have only 2 radiobuttons in my Radiobuttongroup,I have following issue:
When I click on the 1st radiobutton, everything is OK.
When I click on the 2nd radiobutton, the Internet Explorer progress bar starts to run at the bottom of the explorer page and it is running for ages.
There is no abap code in the "onSelect" event - it is empty and therefore there is no running process in SAP.
At this moment(when the progress bar is running) when I click the 1st radiobutton again, the running progress bar stops and everything is fine again.
But when I click the 2nd radiobutton again, the issue occurs again.
I am not able to find out why it behaves this way.
Code which is used in WDDOINIT method:

FCC header issue at Receiver side
Hi Experts,
I have an issue with header.
At sender side we are splitting the message using record set per message option and at receiver side we are appending the message but multiple header is coming in output file.
I want only one header at the output side.Please suggest.Both side we are using FCC.
