migration from -ve to +ve time management
Dear team,
currently we are using -ve time management . But now client want that we should deduct salary for the late comers but there is no overtime . Time data we are capturing through one abab program. Salary will be deducted on following formula : basic salary /30 * deduction day. I have following doubt :
1. can we change whole system to +ve time management or we can do some change to schema
2. do you have any config document or link for the same.
3. In which infotype we can upload data coming from third party software

Confirm a tax code is deductible or non-deductible
Hi friends,
I need to post jv upload using Bapi_acc_document_post.
so for this I need to calculate the tax amount manually.
But before that I need to confirm the given tax code is deductible or non-deductible. So Please tell me how to confirm it.
In tcode FTXP it's given for a particular tax code the deductible tax rate. But while coding we can't use it to determine whether the given tax code is deductible or not.
So any alternative way that can confirm me whether it's deductible or not.
Please reply in urgent.

C4C organization issue (assignments)
Hi,
our customer has the following definition in C4C.
Multiple sales groups ans sales offices are assigned to different sales areas.

Ranking Function in WEBI?
Hi Experts,
I have a weird requirement in WEBI. i have three tables it contains Dimension and Measure.
Now my requirement is if its a Rank one then i need to put these record into one table after that if its a Rank 2 then i need to display only second record into another table. Whenever i am applying Rank 2 it is bringing two records i.e., Rank 1 and Rank 2 but i need to get only second record (i.e., Rank 2 record).
Is there a way to achieve this?

LS4BIP - Very poor performances
Hello,
We have recently deployed Lumira Server for BI Platform 1.29 on top of our clustured BIPlatform 4.1 SP6 installation.
The performances, when opening a Lumira story on this platform, are a disaster.
Our test document (60 MB in size, 4 million rows total) takes more than one minute to be opened and displayed on the Launchpad.
Here is our configuration:
- Two WebApp servers with BIPlatform 4.1 SP6 webapps + Lumira addon (using the tomcat shipped with the platform).
- Two SIA servers with BIPlatform 4.1 SP6
- One SIA server with Lumira Server for BI Platform 1.29 (+ APS, AJS, and WACS from BI Platform).
The sizing has been made according to the sizing guide and server resources are never topped up.
The Lumira server is set up to use up to 10GB of RAM (-Xms1g -Xmx10g) but never uses more than 3 GB.
Currently here are the different steps we noticed when viewing the document:
- Three loading dots, blank page for ~15s
- Lumira title and menu bar appears, loading for ~ 15s
- The "empty" story appears, data starts appearing after 20s
- Data finishes loading 20 seconds laters.
Is there any "Tuning guide" for LS4BIP we could refer to?
Why are the performances so bad?

Why do I get scroll bars within this box, if there is no content (visible or hidden)? How can I get rid of them? This is not really very friendly to the end user to scroll down to the blank content!

Selected key is not showing

I use the following code and the selected key when I open the view is not showed from the binding
I want the it fill the drop down values from the input (myData) but
the selected value will ramain according to the binding .
what am I doing wrong here ?

BODS job as Atomic Transaction
Hi,
I have a situation where my BODS job has to run as Atomic Transaction. i.e Say the job has 10 Dataflows and the job fails at 6th. I need to revert back all the tables in its initial position. To achieve this I am rolling back the tables in Catch section of the job but I would like to know if there is any option in BODS where I can set the whole job as Atomic and revert back all the tables in case there is any failure.

Germany: Women employee on maternity works part time in office.
Hi All,
There is a requirement from the client that women employees in Germany who are on maternity leave sometimes works as part time in the company. Currently in the system we are hiring the emp under a different pernr as part time for the period she is in maternity leave. But this solution is causing a lot of irregularities in SuccessFactor, AD Automation and other systems. No payroll and time evaluation is run for the country in the system. Its just the master data thats stored.
Could anyone help me on this.
Is there any solution for the issue in SAP to set this up by using a combination of IT0080 & IT597. If there is then could you share any document or notes regarding this.

WF e-mail from ECC to SRM/EBP
Hi guys,
please an advice: I have implemented on SAP ECC the std wf blocked invoice for price diff. (WS20000397).
Requirement: a lot of user have a own user only on SRM/EBP and these users can not receive the wf e-mail sent in ECC so is it possible to let that these users which have only a SRM/EBP user can receive the ECC wf e-mail?
Please advice.

How to assign custom theme of Fiori Launchpad on EP to custom UI5 iview content ?

We created a custom theme by Theme Designer at EP(based on SAP NetWeaver 7.5 SP1) and assigned it to Fiori Launchpad. The result is below .
and we added some custom sapui5 iviews inside the EP . When we navigate to them , custom ui5 apps are using their own themes as expected .
so my question is how I can assign the custom theme of Portal to Custom UI5 app ?

Issue with c type PR00 and PR02
Dear Experts,
I am having the issue with c type PR00 and PR02,issue as follows,
while creating sales order(user), we are getting 2 price condition types PR00 and PR02,
my Analysis:
1) Both conditions are having the same condition class (B-prices) and calculation type ( C- Quantity),
2) But c type PR02 having the acc sequence K005 (Customer/Material Dis).
while creating sales order, PR02 was in active and PR00 is on inactive .
could any one assist me why PR02 only in active mode even though it has the less price amount compare to PR00 ?

SAP HANA Cloud Platform is Cloud Foundry Certified
One of the main guiding principles for SAP HANA Cloud Platform has always been to provide an open platform. Besides the lower entry barrier that comes with open-source based components and the lower total cost of ownership/operation resulting from open standards a key argument for customers will always be the reduced vendor lock-in. All of these considerations lead SAP to commit to both Cloud Foundry and Open Stack back in 2014 (further info here) and join the Cloud Foundry Foundation as a founding member in January 2015.
On December 15th, SAP announced its commitment to and participation in the new Cloud Foundry Certification Program during the program launch event that was held in San Francisco:

BEx Query variable "Display not allowed"
Hi experts
One of our users is allowed to select a variable for a filter defintion on a characteristic like 0CALMONTH.
In the selection area he is able to see the description and the key of the variable.
After selection, as seen in the screen, the description disappears and shows "Display not allowed".
SAP note 1553078 is not relevant as authorization objects S_RS_COMP and S_RS_COMP1 are filled with sufficient values.

Custom choropleth map extension with drill-down for SAP Lumira
Many companies and various organizations want to visualize their data on choropleth maps with native-like drill-down capability to switch between organization hierarchy levels. However, native built-in political boundaries of the world often make no sense to their business, as ones usually differ from their business units/regions…
The presented extension is a solution proposal for the given common problem – it was prepared after hours for a demo purposes, so it’s far away from being perfect, but seems to work, that is why I decided to share it. The core functionality is based on Mustafa Aydogdu’s Leaflet.js map extension for SAP Lumira. The main differences are:
- only choropleth shapes are provided (no circles/markers)
- custom regions hierarchy is supported with native-like drill/filter capability
Let me explain how it works on a business-case: imagine, we’d like to visualize coming data (flying objects with GPS coordinates only) with SAP Lumira and SAP HANA Platform with spatial option.

1. Prepare ESRI and geoJSON shapefiles
The first step concerns defining and exporting custom shapes to ESRI and geoJSON format. I suggest keeping the same geodesy standard (EPSG:4326) in both cases. At the moment Leaflet.js supports EPSG:3857/4326/3395 out of the box. The shapes may be prepared with QGIS (free and open source), which makes creating, editing and publishing very easy. Each layer should have a unique identifier ("NAME" attribute).
2.1.1 Import the lowest-level ESRI shapefile
Once you prepare all your shapes, import the lowest-level (the most detailed) one to SAP HANA. You may import the ESRI shapefile using either SQL commands or SAP HANA Studio menu functions.
2.1.2 Prepare organizational hierarchy
To optimize HANA workload, we execute spatial join only within the uploaded shape, remaining less detailed layers will be handled by cheaper inner/reference join condition. To achieve that we need to create auxiliary structure acting as a level or parent-child hierarchy, e.g.:

2.1.3 Create and activate calculation view
The last step concerns creating graphical calculation view, which gonna be used in HANA live connection in SAP Lumira. First, define your spatial join. Then, join the dictionary (created hierarchy in 2.2). On a semantic level don't forget do set hierarchy. Pay attention to the names of dimensions as they are crucial at the moment of loading particular map in SAP Lumira.
2.2.1 Import geoJSON shapes
Copy & paste created geoJSON shapes / layers to geojson.js file.
Be aware, that array keys should match your dimensions and NAME attribute your data.

WBS Status change app calls SAPJAM ?

We implemented WBS Status change fiori app, but it starts with an error about a missing service calls:
Cannot call service with URL ... SM_INTEGRATION_SV
We don't use JAM, and it seems related, how to deactivate this call?
